Wooden Highland Cow Head
£139.00
One Handsome Beast…
This rather impressive wooden Highland Cow head is awfully handsome and would stand majestically on a side board or table.
Brilliantly handmade, our twig Highland Cow head stands firm on a heavy base or the head itself can be wall mounted (but make sure you request a flat back) and would certainly be a talking point.
Each wooden Highland Cow head is unique and individual and no two will ever be the same. They are handmade by craftsmen and will come with quirks and nuances due to working with wood, by hand.
The ‘hair’ on the Highland Cow is often the more ginger brown colour and from time to time we do get some darker brown ones. Like real Highland Cows, their hair can be windswept and their nose and ears are not always one colour, even their wooden horns may differ slightly. Our Highland Cows are the same, wonderfully individual with their own unique look and character. This is the beauty of something that’s handmade. Rest assured though, each and everyone is checked and well looked after while they wait for their new forever home.
On arrival with us each Highland Cow statue is inspected and will only be sold if it has passed the arhh factor, has a nice face and looks a real cutie. If we’d have it on display at home then it stays.
The stand can placed in any direction.
Please let us know if you intend to hang the head on the wall – we need to source a flat back for you. As the Highland Cow is a statue the hanger doesn’t come in the box for wall mounting. We are happy to send an image to you of the type of hanger required and these can be purchased cheaply from any DIY/Hardware store.
For a smaller size Highland Cow to wall mount, take a look at the super cute Angus.
Please Note that the cost of delivery for this item will be £9.99 for most UK destinations. Please contact us for more information as some parts of Scotland and UK Islands may cost more.
Why buy me
These animal head statues are popular beyond belief!
They can be stood on the wooden stand or hung on the wall for a very impressive wall mounted head – perfect for the larger wall space.
Handmade, they take one man, one full day to nail each twig into position then trim them into shape and what a likeness.
Completely taken the UK by storm and yes, we ship most of them! Be prepared there could be a waiting list.
